The Barbara McDowell Social Justice Center (BMSJC) seeks dynamic, mission-driven leaders to join its Board of Directors. BMSJC advances equity through impact litigation, advocacy, education, and grantmaking. 

Board Role

Provide strategic leadership, support organizational growth, and serve as an ambassador for justice-driven work.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape strategy and organizational priorities

• Support and advise executive leadership

• Promote the mission and expand networks

• Contribute to fundraising and financial stewardship

Who We’re Looking For

• Commitment to social justice and equity

• Leadership experience and strategic thinking

• Willingness to engage and open doors

• Diverse perspectives

Commitment

Quarterly meetings, committee and event participation, annual minimum contribution of $6,000
